Police say a 15-year-old stole his uncle's SUV, cash, a gun and the family dog, then went on the run with a friend. Eyewitness To Bernhardt Crash: Child Was In The Vehicle
There?s new information on the drunk driving arrest of an Oklahoma author. Bill Bernhardt was stopped by Jenks police Sunday afternoon, not long after a caller reported he had smashed into a mailbox. The News On 6 found one of the eyewitnesses to that incident, she says Bernhardt had his 14-year-old son in the vehicle, and that his 6-year-old son might have been in the backseat. The News On 6?s Steve Berg reports she didn't realize it was Bernhardt's son in the passenger seat, until the boy came back and introduced himself.

Charges Expected In Starving Horses Case
Sheriff?s Deputies seize eight horses after they were discovered starving in a North Tulsa field on Wednesday. Animal abuse investigators from the City of Tulsa and Tulsa County plan to present their evidence to the district attorney. They say four owners could face felony animal cruelty charges. The eight horses are now at the Tulsa Stockyards getting some much needed attention. The News On 6?s Joshua Brakhage reports their bodies may be weak, but the folks taking care of them say their spirits are still strong.

EMSA Costs Could Be Added To Utility Bills
The Tulsa City Council is considering a plan to tack the cost of ambulance service onto utility bills. It would be a new way of paying for ambulance service in the city that would make every Tulsa utility customer a member of Total Care. That's EMSA's subscription program that covers out of pocket costs. The News On 6?s Emory Bryan reports people could turn down the monthly fee, but would have to pay full price if they need an ambulance.
